Our Story
Thirty-nine years on the same corner.
In 1987 the Gwartney family moved from Missouri to plant a Free Will Baptist church in Mesa. Almost four decades later, we're still here — still meeting on Power Road, still singing from a hymnal, still doing the small unglamorous things. A bus that picks kids up for Sunday School. AWANA on Wednesday nights. A Spanish-language ministry under the same roof. A summer VBS that's been on the calendar since most of the kids' parents were kids themselves.
